A small universe held in oil and water. On one side, the slow burn of red and amber; on the other, a quiet drift into violet and deep blue. Between them, weightless spheres hang like passing planets — each one carrying a faint reflection of the world it floats through, glowing softly with the colour it borrows from its neighbour.

The viscosity slows everything down. Light becomes liquid. Distances collapse. What looks like a galaxy is, in truth, only a few millimetres across — a dream caught in the moment before it dissolves.
