Crystal Colors
A stream of colored diamonds that slowly fade. The colors are always a surprise, even to me — I can't quite predict what will appear until the frame is on the screen. Abstract photographs made close up. Signed, limited-edition prints available.

About
I'm a Dutch photographer living in Romania. I've been making photographs since I was six — first on film, with my own darkroom — then more quietly through a long career in human resources (Philips/Signify, and later my own consultancy in the Netherlands and Romania). A few years ago I retired from that career and gave photography the place it had always asked for.
My work is abstract and close-up. I'm drawn to images where the subject isn't quickly identifiable — where the eye wanders, and the mind catches up a beat later. The current series, Crystal Colors, is a stream of colored diamonds that slowly fade. The colors are always a surprise.
Prints are available in limited, signed editions. I'm glad to hear from anyone who looks closely.
